At noon this morning Haslett will be announced as the interim head coach with Scott Linehan being fired after another loss Sunday. As much as we all wanted Linehan out, I'm not so sure that Haslett will be much better. The defensive unit that he captained has failed to show one iota of improvement since he came to the Rams three years ago.
If nothing else, it will provide some change of scenery around Rams Park for a few months until the search for a long term replacement can be conducted. And if all goes well, that search will not be headed up by Jay Zygmunt, lest he hire another Scott Linehan.
Rams fans got what they wanted, now it's time to see if anything changes in two weeks.
