The Rams are basically orphans, at this point.

Because the kiddies haven't been behaving, the incumbent babysitter was fired, and a new baby sitter was installed for the time being.   Eventually, it'll be discovered that the parents - namely, John Shaw and Jay Zygmunt - are utterly responsible for poor parenting and will be kicked to the curb by an unforgiving judge, played by Chip Rosenbloom.

Side Note:  The picture below doesn't even look real.  Frankly, it looks like a picture that was staged for the inside cover of a media guide.  The only problem is that there's probably a 50/50 chance that Jim Haslett's picture is even needed for next year's media guide.

Perhaps in an attempt to look like the sane franchise trying to establish soludarity, the St. Louis Cardinals signed pitcher Kyle Lohse to a four year deal.  Let's hope all bad long-term-pitching-vibes left when Mark Mulder and Chris Carpenter signed their extensions. [USA Today]
