Because the kiddies haven't been behaving, the incumbent babysitter was fired, and a new baby sitter was installed for the time being. Eventually, it'll be discovered that the parents - namely, John Shaw and Jay Zygmunt - are utterly responsible for poor parenting and will be kicked to the curb by an unforgiving judge, played by Chip Rosenbloom.
