To echo the sentiments of Mr. Sebek yesterday, it really is a boring time in St. Louis sports. As of today, our only two big teams in season are Mizzou and the Rams and there's only so much you can talk about the Rams and the Tigers from Monday-Friday. I've read so much about this weekend's MU-OSU game that I think I can probably tell you what Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant's is having for breakfast on Saturday.
Needless to say, it's a rough transition for St. Louisans who are used to being able to follow the day-to-day activity of the Cardinals through the regular season and typically the postseason. We're spoiled. Now with two years in a row of no October baseball, we're bored to tears on any day that isn't Saturday and Sunday. And Sundays just make us depressed.
